As automotive manufacturers add more infotainment, safety and electrification features, space within vehicle architectures becomes increasingly constrained. Traditional high-circuit-count connectors often require bulky housings to meet current requirements, complicating system design.

The ConnTAK50 Connector System addresses these challenges by offering up to 22 circuits and current ratings up to 6.0A (in air), all within a footprint smaller than conventional 0.64mm systems. As the latest addition, the ConnTAK50 no-void CPA connector, further optimizes packaging efficiency by eliminating unused receptacle voids, enabling full port utilization without increasing the connector size.

Designed with the standard Arbeitskreis (AK) interface and cavity, the ConnTAK50 system is fully intermateable with existing AK connectors and compatible with AK terminals, making it a seamless drop-in replacement on European-centric platforms. The 1.80mm-pitch ConnTAK50 Connector System is available in both single- and dual-row configurations, and supports flexible, high-density routing while ensuring robust electrical performance and mechanical reliability.
