How do I register?
Registration is quick and straight forward. Submit this brief registration form, watch for the confirmation email from Molex, then click “Confirm Your Email Address” to complete the process.
Can I use my MyMolex username and password?
Yes, you can use your existing MyMolex username and password to log in to Molex.com.
Finding Samples
Which products are available as free samples?
We offer free samples on more than 15,000 products available on Molex.com. To check sample availability, look for the “Add to Cart” button on the part number details page. If the button is missing, use the “Find Similar Parts” link for alternatives.
How do I add a sample to my cart?
To add a sample to your cart, click the “Add to Cart button” on the right side of any part number details page on Molex.com.
How do I order samples for a part that doesn’t have an “Add to Cart” button?
When the “Add to Cart” button is not displayed on a part number details page, it means that samples are currently unavailable. To search for alternative part numbers, click the “Find Similar Parts” link. You may also be able to purchase parts through distributors listed in the Distributor Inventory panel.
Ordering and Payment
How many samples can I order?
You can order multiple quantities and part numbers at once. However, each part number is configured to limit the number of free samples based on its cost and complexity. Additional quantities are available for purchase during the checkout process.
What if I need a higher quantity of parts than allowed?

Currently, Molex.com does not accept purchase orders for samples.

Samples must be ordered through our online platform, not via email.
Can I place a backorder for a sample that is not available?
We do not accept backorders for unavailable samples, but you may be able to purchase parts through distributors listed in the Distributor Inventory panel.

Shipping
What should I expect after I place my order?
After placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email promptly. Orders placed by 11:59 a.m. Central U.S. Time (UTC-6) will be processed the same day. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email containing the carrier’s delivery tracking number along with a link to monitor progress.
How long does it take to process my order?
Orders received by 11:59 a.m. Central U.S. Time (UTC-6) are processed the same day, while those received after this time will be processed the following day. We process orders seven days a week.
How long does shipping take?
For U.S. orders, we provide free standard two-day ground shipping. International orders ship via standard air freight at no charge. All shipments originate from our distribution hub in the United States.
