Customers need improved reliability and durability as rugged applications can be subject to shock, vibration or rough handling that can dislodge the terminals and cause signal interference. The PicoBlade Connector System features a two-point-contact design for a reliable electrical connection and a frictional lock for secure mating retention; the Gold plating provides superior reliability and durability.
Existing users of PicoBlade Wire-to-Board Connectors want higher electrical conductivity than existing Tin-plated versions can support. Molex introduced PicoBlade Goldplated W-to-B Connectors with through-hole and SMT headers in a right-angle orientation.
Customers need compactness without sacrificing overall quality in standard W-to-B/W-to-W connectors. Molex offers 1.25mm pitch connectors with a reliable two-point contact design and friction lock.
Customers require high-volume vacuum pick-and-place assembly for SMT headers using industry-standard pickup nozzles. Vacuum caps on the top of the header and a flat area for pick-and-place assembly purposes enable easy automatic board placement.
