Features and Benefits


Molex barrier strips are available in three main categories: dual-barrier, tri-barrier, and double-row. Each category of barrier strip is offered in several industry standard pitch (or centerline) spacings, allowing for a selection of choice for high-density circuit count to high-current applications.

Their compact footprints and modular constructions allow for exact circuit counts to maximize space efficiency. Robust materials such as high-performance polymers and corrosion-resistant hardware ensure reliability under load. Versatile termination and mounting styles (panel, DIN rail and PCB) simplify inventory and speed up production.

All versions feature easy-to-access captive clamping screws for ideal job-site termination of bare copper wire. This is possible in combinations of different wire sizes and without severing thinly stranded wire. Other features include nickel-plated screws for superior resistance to corrosion and high-quality tin-plated terminals for optimal electrical performance and reliability.

High-Density and Compact Designs 

Molex provides rugged, compact, high-density options that save space on panel and PCB layouts, packing more functionality into smaller areas and reducing overall system size and part count. Single-row designs are available in dual-wall options for flexible wiring orientation or tri-wall versions that provide an extra wall as a wire stop feature.

Each individual version in the Molex barrier strip series is molded to exact lengths, allowing for specific circuit counts rather than standard, fixed sizes. Dual-wall and tri-wall versions offer printed circuit board wire terminations, and dual-row versions offer panel-mount wire-to-wire terminations.
