Some applications require antennas to be externally mounted. This requires antennas that are designed and manufactured to perform in a range of environments, including those with high moisture, corrosive chemicals, extreme temperatures, and high shock and vibration.
Molex designs antennas mounted outside the transmitter/receiver device. And as the recognized global leader in electrical connectors, Molex expertise in ruggedized connection systems and enclosures has been applied to our external antennas. Mounting methods include standard configurations and adhesive, magnetic and bolt-down options. Both antennas and antenna cables are offered in standard configurations and may be customized, as needed.
