Features and Benefits

The rapid growth of connected devices and data-intensive applications like AI and machine learning is leading to demands for higher speeds and more bandwidth in the telecommunications and data center industries. As speeds increase, interconnect solutions must optimize density to limit space requirements while ensuring stable signal integrity in electronically noisy environments.

Flexible, upgradeable and standardized solutions like PCIe-compliant connectors can help data centers meet industry demands. Robust interconnect solutions designed for reliable operation and simplified installation can help reduce downtime and ensure consistent performance. Modular connectors can provide versatile and futureproofed solutions that ensure cost-effective longevity.

The CDFP Connector System delivers up to 64Gbps PAM-4 data speeds, supporting 85 Ohm impedance for PCIe applications up to PCIe Gen 6. Its robust packaging and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding provides exceptional signal integrity and long-term reliability in a compact, high-density form factor. It is designed for scalability and upgradeability, using the established SFF-TA-1032 standard to simplify system design.

High-Speed Capability for Next-Generation Upgrades

CDFP Connectors provide data rates up to 64Gbps PAM-4 or up to 256Gbps per 16-lane connector to meet PCIe Gen 6 standards. CDFP PCIe Gen 6 Connectors are also ideal for GPU and CPU links, helping to ensure stable performance for AI systems. They are upgradable to PCIe Gen 7 to help futureproof data center architectures.

CDFP Cage

CDFP Connector System

Reduces space requirements in high-density applications
With 16 lanes in a compact form factor, the connectors meet SFF-TA-1032 standards.

Provides a compact footprint for high-density connections
With a 0.75mm pitch ideal for meeting ever-increasing bandwidth requirements, the CDFP system is one of the densest, fastest I/O connectors on the market.

Reduces cable bundle size and improves cable flexibility
Cable assemblies are available with 30 AWG (CDFP PCIe Gen 5) or 29 AWG (CDFP PCIe Gen 6) discrete twinax cable.

Delivers enhanced signal integrity
The cage design uses EMI spring fingers to help prevent signal degradation.

Simplifies routing and system design
The unique footprint optimizes signal integrity performance while supporting straight-back routing, enhancing board edge density by avoiding the need for side-route access to inner plated through-hole (PTH) rows.

CDFP PCIe Gen 6 Connectors

Enables high-speed data transmission rates up to 64Gbps PAM-4, 256Gbps per 16x connector
Available CDFP Connector options meet PCIe Gen 6 standards with 85 Ohm impedance and are upgradable to PCIe Gen 7 standards.

Supports flexible system design
The latest CDFP PCIe Gen 6 design is backward compatible with previous PCIe Gen 5 products, supports belly-to-belly configurations, offers various cable lengths up to 2.0m and supports 4x, 8x and 16x configurations, including cable bifurcation.
