END-TO-END WAVELENGTH MANAGEMENT

Vertically Integrated ROADM Solutions

Rising data traffic at higher speeds requires network agility and efficiency when sharing resources, balancing workloads and scaling capacity. Molex provides ROADM solutions with in-house optical building blocks of WSS, amplifiers, OCM, OTDR and OSC transceivers. It enables our customers to develop ROADM-based transport systems that are easy to deploy, maximize network efficiency, reduce operating costs by re-routing fiber and optimize performance as required.

FIBER OPTIC CONNECTIVITY

High-Density Optical EMI Shielding Adapters

Optical EMI Shielding Adapters are designed to address mechanical design requirements to limit EMI emissions from the equipment front panel or enclosures. Ideally suited for data communications and networking applications requiring I/O density, Molex EMI adapters are constructed of all diecast, half diecast, or half polymer housing or with EMI shielding polymers.

Molex in OIF Interoperability Solution Demo

Molex will join a record-setting 46 other companies participating in an OIF interoperability demonstration at Booth #1323.  Live and interactive demos will include a range of solutions addressing the challenges redefining the industry landscape as AI and machine learning drive demand for more speed, power and density.

CO-PACKAGED OPTICS IMPLEMENTATION

External Laser Source Interconnect System (ELSIS)

ELSIS is a complete system of electrical, optical, cage and pluggable modules constructed to allow all connections from the back side of the pluggable module to occur on the inside of the equipment, thus eliminating user access to optical fibers and cables. It brings optical fibers directly to the IC substrate or package, eliminating the need for traditional high-speed electrical interfaces. Optical signals are direct to the external network, saving power by eliminating high-speed electrical I/O drivers on the IC and in pluggable modules while increasing front-panel I/O density.

PLUGGABLE COHERENT OPTICAL MODULES

400G OpenZR+ QSFP-DD

The rapid rise in work-from-home and distance learning has created unprecedented bandwidth requirements, impacted by major adoption of streaming video, social networking and applications leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing. As a result, data center operators are seeking high-density, low-latency and low-power Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) links to connect multiple data centers. With 400G ZR+ QSFP-DD coherent optical transceivers from Molex, operators can connect data centers within a region, enabling them to function as a single data center without the need for a separate transport box.
