Low Halogen Information

Low-Halogen
Molex's standard definition of Low-Halogen is:
  • Bromine less than 900 ppm per homogeneous material
  • Chlorine less than 900 ppm per homogeneous material
  • The sum of Bromine and Chlorine less than 1500 ppm per homogeneous material

This definition allows Molex to meet the vast majority of customer and industry definitions of 'Low-Halogen' (or 'Halogen-Free').

Low-Halogen Status:
Low-Halogen		The product does not contain the substances above the listed maximum concentration values.
Low-Halogen Status:
Not Low-Halogen		The product contains at least one of the substances above the listed maximum concentration values.
Low-Halogen Status:
Not Reviewed		The product has not been reviewed for Low-Halogen status yet.

Where Do I Find Low-Halogen Information on Molex.com?

Low-halogen information is displayed on the part detail page.  Getting to the part number datasheet can be accomplished by either using our part search and facet search tools to drill down to a specific part or by directly entering a part number into the search box at the top of the screen.
