Down Light Modules

Ideal for light-fixture manufacturers, Molex’s Down Light Modules eliminate the need for external electronic components with a compact, separable interface and integrated power supply for a turn-key solution to LED lighting designs


The Molex DLM lighting system is the first plug-and-play sustainable light emitting diode (LED) lighting module to integrate high-efficiency precision lighting with an easy-to-use socketed solution. Combining solid-state lighting technology and engage-and-turn interconnect technology, the Molex DLM system simplifies the process of designing, building and replacing luminaires.

By emulating a traditional lighting socket, the DLM system delivers an easy and familiar installation experience similar to traditional light sources. Beam angle, color temperature and light output can all be easily changed or upgraded with the simple turn of the wrist, without the complexity and expense of removing the luminaire.

Product options are tailored to match light output levels of traditional light sources, delivering up to 2000 lumens under application conditions. Modules are offered in halogen and fluorescent several color temperature options as well as narrow and medium flood-beam patterns.
