DisplayPort* and Mini DisplayPort Interconnect System

DisplayPort* interconnect system from Molex consists of a 20-circuit, 0.50mm pitch SMT, external receptacles designed with a polarized D-shape mating interface and metal shield for full EMI/RFI protection. The connectors are designed with four solder pins for added mechanical stability and robustness, as well as a snap-in plastic peg for positive polarization during connector mounting. DisplayPort cable assemblies come in both latching and non-latching versions and are overmolded at both ends. To enhance flexibility, Molex's DisplayPort interconnects offer several cable adapters that allows users to connect enabled devices to legacy graphics devices, such as DVI and HDMI.

Mini DisplayPort delivers pure digital connections quickly and seamlessly to external displays while offering plug-and-play performance supporting VGA, DVI and dual-link DVI connections. Cable plugs and plug kits are available in a range of cable lengths to meet specific needs.
